I also had this problem once.We were in the temple cloister,just 2 people,i was host,and yet the lag was incredible,like 4 secs delay.Don't know what caused it .

Was one of you a ranger?

Because it's happening for my ranger too, can't play too long or get 10+ second delays when it was fine 20+ minutes ago.

Just played a Haz run on legendary, and the command delay kicked back up before we went to kill the last infernal, and all through haz. Hoochilus is saying he only gets the lag when a ranger is in the game and I haven't tested it with another char since my ranger is the only one I have.

Is there any kind of info/testing/replays that would help troubleshoot this? I have noticed a few times when I pop exp. arrow and multishot at the same time, the exp. won't do any damage and the multi does, or vice versa. In the beginning of the game, everything works fine and I can spam to my hearts content.

The host had 0 issues (was not me), but everyone else had 4-9 seconds command lag.

i'll look over the rangers code the only thing i can think of is the new hail of arrows, the function was completely rewritten. I'll review it to see if I made a goof and a leak somewhere

Same problem, started a new ranger, and then first time it ever happened to me. I didn't have my Hail of Arrows skill though, I got it after the lag started.

I know it's pulling a dead topic from the depths of hell, and even the game may very well be dead, but has anyone found a solution or fix to this delay problem? The memory leak from Rangers still exists in the latest unofficial patch, 2.11.07h, so I don't know what measures have been taken to cope with this, if any at all. In the several games I have played as a Ranger, the delay starts to kick in around 30 minutes into the game and quickly gets bad. I wouldn't mind playing another class so much if it weren't for the fact that this leak problem pretty much forbids anyone from playing Ranger, which in my opinion is one of the best DPS classes, if not the best, because of it's utility and AoE capabilities. I'm only as far as the Ruined Temple because the delay problem has prevented us from beating the Twins and only recently found out the cause of the lag through these forums. But I'm pretty sure a Barb couldn't match the 350 dps of my Ranger at level 20. Pretty discouraging not being able to play Ranger. Any solutions or suggestions will be appreciated.

H did fix the ranger memory leak problem. At least I have not encountered it since playing in f.

Hm, are you sure? Delay still gets really bad after a while and doesn't go away unless we remake, which restarts the temple. And it's always when there's at least 1 Ranger in the group. But if it is fixed like you said, it could be something in the temple causing the leak though. I read about the Tauren statues causing some sort of memory leak. Is that true as well?
