hi,
i dont know if this will be a double post with an allready known bug, but i am a bit too lazy too search all the forum for it.
me and some friends startet playing the 2.11.06b version today and everything worked fine until the game started to be extremly laggy. we changed the host then, but after ~30 mins of gameplay it started again. we all had delay arround 5-6 seconds or worse, and it was even hosted with listchecker. even host complained about the delay what is impossible, since normaly a host has 0 ms delay^^
there were also no hardware probs (dualcore cpu and 2 gig ram), so it has smth to do with the map. our heros were 2 ranger, warrior, druid, cleric and a pala. mb this helps :)

what have you done in the game? i noticed that bug too. the delay is been raising while fighting murton. dunno if that helps. we've been ranger, warri, rogue and cleric

is murton the endboss in the temple south of the orc village? if not, it appeared twice while fighting near and after him.

Where did you start the game that wound up being laggy, what zone, and what quests were you doing up to the point where you had problems?

ups my bad, thought the "b" in 11.06 stands for beta, sry. since im new to the map i can only describe u the q´s we were doing. we started our game with a couple of lvl 10-15 heroes, picked up the q´s in the orc village, opened the sunken temple and proceeded to the endboss. i cannot say if the delay began bevor or after we entered his room. i was host and suddenly my mates complained about the delay; i first ignored it cause it often happens that my shitty flatmates start down- or uploading shit^^. but i definetly recognized the delay myself after we were first all raped by him and tried to reenter his chamber. afterwards it was unplayable, and this also happened in the second game.


i dont know if it helps , but in the black road rpg the cleric class is bugged and causes memory leaks after 30-60 mins if she uses a certain set item that heals aoe when shes attacking. the result is that u got a massive loss on fps, maybe here is something like that the problem? im not a coder but perhaps it could have the same reason. hope it helps. gonna watch it better the next time.

im pretty sure the temple doesnt have memory leaks, thats been in the game for ages unchanged... so, not sure whats going on yet

we played today again, and this time we killed the twins (got finaly their name!) and after the defense quest of the orc village it was unplayable again. maybe the mass spawns of the centaur warriors can cause it? we noticed some light delay just bevor entering the twins, but after the defense it started getting worse. our lineup was 2 rangers, 1 warrior and 1 cleric.

the ranger had some changes to her code recently, nobody else has reported leak issues, but i will go and review her code to make sure

I haven't had a chance to play the new beta, but I have not noticed the old memoryleak/delay in the .06b version. I spam most of my ranger spells every chance I get when there's mobs. No complaints other then some lag right before a murton fight after killing a ton of the radiated bandits.

I think the problem may have something to do with subsequent games of TKoK. I've noticed that my FPS seems to go down with each subsequent game of TKoK, which is odd.
I'm not sure what causes it, but i can only assume it has something to do with unit models or sounds/music, since that's the only thing i know of that stays from game to game. I'll do some testing later to see if i can figure it out.
